Overview
Stastic Designer is a work in progress tool that aims to create a drag and drop universal template editor based on the Silex open-source website builder. Currently, it is compatible with Jekyll and 11ty, but no documentation is available yet. The tool offers both a desktop app for local usage and an online mode for working without installation. It includes features such as a template panel for writing HTML+liquid code, publication support for 11ty and Jekyll, component loading, and a tool for converting selected elements into components. Installation
To install Stastic Designer, follow these steps:
- Please refer to the Silex Desktop installation instructions.
- Create a website using Silex, with one page for each page type in the final website.
- Select elements that should come from the CMS and designate them as templates.
- Publish the website to a folder that contains a Jekyll or 11ty website, either on GitHub or locally.
